  11. The following messages provide you with late breaking
  12. information on Super Sketch 2.0 for Windows features. 
  13. Please review them carefully, as you will learn important
  14. things about how the program operates, User's Guide changes 
  15. that should be noted, and other pertinent information.

  27. 1.      User's Guide and Help

  30. Super Sketch contains some features that are not covered or have been 
  31. changed in the User's Guide.  You will find complete instructions in 
  32. the Help file.  
  33.  
  34. On Page 8, there should be a menu option under File that says EXPORT.  
  35. This option is for exporting a selected element in a drawing or the 
  36. entire drawing to a graphic format other than as a .SIG file.
  37.  
  38. On Page 16, a reference is made to the fact that WPG (1.0) files can be 
  39. imported.  That support has been removed.
  40.  
  41. On Page 31, the deer shown as a rotated object is incorrect.  Since it 
  42. is a raster graphic type, it can not actually be rotated as shown.  It 
  43. can however, be Flipped either horizontally, vertically or both.  Other 
  44. graphic formats or drawn objects such as WMF, DCX, etc. can be rotated 
  45. as shown.

  47. On Page 36, references are made to saving a portion or a whole drawing 
  48. as a WMF file using this option.  You will want to use the Export command 
  49. on the File menu to actually accomplish this operation.

  51. The Export Drawing dialog actually allows you to save your drawing or 
  52. selected objects in a number of popular formats that can be imported into 
  53. other graphics and word-processing programs.

  56. 2.      Problems decompressing BWCC.DLL
  57.     ----------------------------------------------
  58.  
  59. If Super Sketch 2.0 has difficulties decompressing BWCC.DLL or ACCUSOFT.DLL
  60. during installation, you may have a previous version of BWCC.DLL or
  61. ACCUSOFT.DLL currently loaded in memory. Quit all other applications and restart
  62. the Setup progam.

  64. If you still have this problem, check the attributes/properties assigned to your installed 
  65. version of BWCC.DLL or ACCUSOFT.DLL in the Windows System directory and 
  66. verify only "ARCHIVE" is checked.

  70. 3.       Printing with a Laser Printer or Ink Jet Printer
  71.     ------------------------------------------------------------
  72.  
  73. Laser printers and Ink Jet printers have "unprintable regions" around 
  74. the edge of the page.  Typically, the unprintable region is between 
  75. 1/8 & 1/4 of an inch.  Each individual printer has its own alignment 
  76. characteristics which can affect these unprintable regions. Therefore, 
  77. if you are trying to center a drawing on a page for one of these printers, 
  78. it may require some experimentation on your part to determine what type 
  79. of margins you need to give your drawing in order to center it on a page.

  81. We suggest using the default page size shown in the drawing layout dialog. 
  82. The page size that you see in the drawing layout dialog indicates the 
  83. maximum printable area for your currently selected default printer for 
  84. the current paper size.  It is recommended that you leave 1/8" to 1/4" 
  85. margins around the drawing.  Once your drawing is finished, you can group 
  86. the whole drawing and move it up, down, right, or left to center it with
  87. respect to your individual printer.

  90. 4.      Printing on the Hewlett Packard LaserJet IV
  91.     ---------------------------------------------------

  93. If you have difficulty printing to your LaserJet IV printer try the 
  94. following:
  95.  
  96.      A. Update your driver to the latest version.  You can obtain the 
  97.     latest version from Hewlett Packard, CompuServe, your local 
  98.     dealer or many other on-line services.

  100.      B. Use the LaserJet II or III printer driver.

  104. 5.      Mirror effect for Text
  105.     -------------------------
  106.  
  107. You will not be able to flip text objects vertically or horizontally 
  108. to create a "mirrored" effect.  You will however be able to flip all 
  109. other objects.

  113.             OBTAINING REPLACEMENT DISKS
  114.           -------------------------------
  115.  
  116.  Usually you receive one of the following messages if
  117.  you have a bad disk:
  118.  
  119.     "General failure error reading drive..."
  120.     "Sector not found.."
  121.     "CRC error..."
  122.     "Bad sector..."
  123.     "Unrecoverable read error..."
  124.     "Address mark not found..."
  125.  
  126.  To check your disks, use the DISKCOPY command to copy the
  127.  entire disk. DISKCOPY reports any bad sectors. (See your
  128.  DOS manual.) To order a replacement for a defective disk,
  129.  call Technical Support at 1-319-395-7314. Within 30 days
  130.  of purchase, we replace disks free. After this, contact
  131.  Technical Support for prices.
